Maybe Martin Parker, he was the MVP of the east-west shrine game. I have a feeling if we take a big body, it's gonna be him.

I wrote Kubes' a letter a few days ago, he should have got it by today. I wasn't gonna tell him who he should draft in the first half of the draft, but I did request a player coincidently in the 4th round, someone no one would guess and who should be there, and also serves a major need. Ya'll might be able to figure it out, and I justified it by using Garrett Graham as our 4th last year as an example and how little PT he got. Anyhow, in closing I also mentioned Legree and Parker along with a few others. I tried this once to the Rockets coach and got a phone call from Jeff V Gundy himself, it was the same draft in which he traded for Shane Battier. I remember we talked about that, he was very cool, btw. Anyway, we'll see if it happens.

Hint- he doesn't play defense.

The Jets take my NT Kenrick Ellis. :(

I suppose Jerrell Powe is my only hope.

Marcus Cannon?

If we take C. Chekwa in the forth, consider the secondary shored up. Harris takes over slot CB, Quin moves to FS, and C.C. handles his old post. McCain goes to the practice squad where he belongs.

LOL, no.

You won't like the pick initially...

I am more than pleased with our second and third picks in this Draft, now the question is did we make the right choice in the first round with JJ when we also had Fairley, Quinn, and Prince among others also on the Board ?
But after yesterday I'd place a B - B+ grade on the Texans Draft.

This is who I wanted.

He was taken a few spots prior to our 4th round (Washington) selection by the Eagles. Damn Andy Reid, he's always taking my players.....

I believe he'll be the 2nd kicker inducted in the HOF.

Probably for the best.

Every year, a handful of NFL prospects are faced with unfortunate legal entanglements. The New York Jets devoted a third-round pick to a player who has one.

And it’s a big one.

Per Rich Cimini of ESPNNewYork.com, defensive lineman Kenrick Ellis faces up to 20 years in prison on charges of felony assault. The trial is set for July 12.

Ellis allegedly broke the jaw and nose of a man during an altercation on the Hampton (Va.) University campus.

The Jets are calling it a “pending legal issue,” which sounds a lot better than “possibly two decades in the clink.”
