Now it should be official, we are playing for next year.

Exactly. Starting this week we should be switching over to 2011 pre-season mode, but you gotta know Kubiak will be playing to minimize the ugly-factor on his 2010 W-L record, i.e., 7-9 or even 6-10 looks better than 5-11.
We'll see if MnNair steps in to help him get the teams priorites straight ?
I'd especially like to see some of the younger DBacks like Nolan & McMannis get some more snaps.

It is hard to get younger experience wise than a rookie and a 2nd year player at CB. I understand what you mean though.

I've seen all I care to see of Owen Daniels. For the money he wants and all the drops and fumbles he makes, I'm willing to cut him loose. Assuming Tate is okay for next year, we can dump Slaton too.

People used to get on my case last year when I would post that Daniels was just a product of the offense. I was one of the believers that if you could run and catch then you could put up numbers similar to OD's. Dreesen has had some good games in OD's absence but I think James Casey is capable of better production if he gets more opportunities. I dont disagree with dumping Slaton either. It just sucks because we will end up releasing him. We could have gotten something for him when Ryan Grant went down in Green Bay.

Slaton I will go along with, but OD has been, and can be again, an integral part of this team. No apologies, but OD looked very rusty Monday night. Heck, how about the lousy tackling and the special teams, if you want to single out something to be pissed about.

I'm with Bob on this, OD is a goner. We can get production from Dreessen, Casey and Graham. No need to pay OD a bankload amount of money.

I am mad that we have not given Casey more shots to prove himself.

I can hear Gary now " We should have given Casey more reps".

Good news the front office does have a clue, Mario has been shut down for the season. Now will he go have surgery or think that rest will cure this thing?

Already announced, surgery is scheduled for next Tuesday.
He will be fine by camp.....if there is one.

Things have sure backfired on OD, he shoulda taken the deal they offered when it was offered, but he seems to understand things don't always work out.

Why are we so upset with Slayton? is it apparently being iffy due to a neck injury? he's not high paid. might come back. agree perhaps a trade would have been worthwhile earlier.
