OK, I know he's a Junior and appears to be smaller than ideal, but holy crap! This guy looks like he'd be a really good player at the next level. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVPuzPacWDY |
Anybody else get a look-see at Ndamukong Suh last night when his team went up against Mizzou ? Very impressive I thought.

Of course, the Mizzou O-Line isn't much of a test. They have pretty wide spreads between the OLinemen allowing the gaps to be attacked. Anyway, he was a beast in the rain. My man, Weatherspoon didn't dissapoint me either. |

What we need is coverage, tackling machine, secondary types.

Rolando McClain looks like the best linebacker in the country and a top 10 pick to me. I also like what I've seen of Golden Tate, I think he's going to be a really good pro. He kind of reminds me of a Hines Ward type of player.

Houston Texans: Toby Gerhart, RB, Stanford
The Texans could be 7-1 right now if they had a running back who could plunge into the end zone from the 1-yard line. We'll see if Ryan Moats is the answer, but I have my doubts. http://walterfootball.com/draft2010_3.php **************************************** Given the opportunity to watch some Standford games this year I caught a couple because I was interested to see how Andrew Luck, Stanfords red-shirt freshman QB from the Houston area, was playing and I got a look-see at this big tailback who at 'bout 230-235 is certainly not quick but maybe just what we need as a compliment to Slaton/Moats ? Anyway looks like Walter has us taking him in the 3rd round on a recent mock, but dunno if Kubiabk would go that high for this thumper, assuming he'd even be interested ? Also, he's a steller baseball prospect which makes for additional risk if picked ? |
We have two RB on the practice squad. Wonder if either of them will get a shot one of these days?
