Ditto. I hope we've seen the last of CC at S.

After the Wilson signing yesterday I heard that the plan is for Barber and Wilson to start with Ferguson as the back-up. I haven't even considered CC Brown as part of the equation...unless something happens to one of the above guys. I would be surprised if they didn't take another safety as a semi-project late in the draft vs. keeping CC Brown around.

After Glen Earl, I'm a little leary of Notre Dame S prospects. However, David Bruton's Combine was pretty impressive. He meets the Hybrid Safety measurables that I believe the team is looking for.

The other thought is the scouts' history of taking ACC players. It seems we have scouts at every Va Tech game, perhaps they got a good look at Clemson's FS prospect Chris Clemons. He's more of a Centerfielder who allowed Hamlin to be the S in the box. Interestingly, he racked up a ton of tackles and is currently given a 6th round grade by DraftScout.com. Talk about value. Decent size/speed combo 6'0" 208 4.41 - 40. Did I say value?
