Thinkin' about maybe starting a "spread" league to go with a pickem league next year. Picking ATS can be very, errr, humbling.... Last Sunday I got 12 correct in the "straight up" league and just 5 correct in my ATS league....

I'm surprised only the house contrarian and I picked the Seahawks.

And almost all of us picked the Texans. Incredible. I'm curious about everyone else's thinking but for me I changed my pick after the Ravens' win. I foolishly thought that would motivate the team into playing better, well enough to win.

Mine was a total homer pick. No logic, just hoping my favorite team would pull off the upset. I truly thought the Texans would cover the spread (they didn't), so that was disappointing, too....

These pick'em contests illustrate to me why I gave up gambling.....

Don't know how I did it, but I didn't save my picks 2 weeks ago. I didn't catch it until the middle of the 1st game. I had picked San Fran, but that pick went out the window. I did pick New England so I went O fer. (sigh):o
