Despite Aaron Rogers' league leading passer rating, Green Bay is on a healthy pace to set their franchise record of sacks allowed in a season (62 in 1990).

Could they surpass Ol' Mr. White Gloves' sacks taken record of 76 that was accomplished in '02? It's going to be close...

Green Bay sacks allowed so far in 7 games of this season: 31
Average increase in sacks made by past opponents compared to average against rest of schedule played: 2.1 (3.0 without the CLE game)

With DAL, PIT, BAL, SF, SEA, CHI, ARI and DET(who got 5 in their last meeting) left on the schedule (forget TB) the estimate hovers around 66-68.

Let's get out the popcorn!

Some QBs will sometimes eat the ball instead of throwing it away in an effort to protect their QB rating and completion percentage (a sack does not count negative in any way for the QB). Rogers is the worst I have ever seen about this. He'll continuously take sacks outside of the pocket when he could flick it away with the slightest effort. Amazing selfishness.

I see Rogers is up to 43 sacks in 10 games. Wonder what the INT record is, I see Cutler is up to 18.

48 sack after 13 games.

As for the most INT in a season

Most Interceptions Thrown, Season: 42: George Blanda (Houston Oilers '62) from Walters Football site: NFL History

No wonder my dad hated Blanda, my dad claimed the bookies owned him and he would throw a game, or at least change the final scores with his INT.
