By now everybody knows that the Seattle Seahawks landed a deal with T.J. Houshmandzadeh. Only problem with that is that many mock drafts had Seattle landing WR Michael Crabtree with their fourth overall pick. Picks 5,6, and 7 belong to the Browns, Bengals, and Raiders. These teams IMO will likely not go on the wide receiver route because Im thinking they will go defense first or left tackle. That leaves the Jaguars at #8 with the possibility of landing the outstanding WR Crabtree. Im not too thrilled about about our secondary having to deal with Matt Jones and Michael Crabtree twice a year.... What do you guys think? Is this even possible?

Wouldn't Cincinnattii need another a replacement for TJ.

Please stop the bold lock. I will not read any post bold locked or caps locked anymore. So if you want to discuss with us then play by the generally accepted rules of BB.

Well they do have Chad Johnson and Chris Henry so i dont think they would. The Bengals are projected to take OT Eugene Monroe according to mock drafts. Bengals need to address several positions with most of them on the defensive side.

I see you are not willing to change so you become my 1st block since Sly.

Well Crabtree could slip further if teams are concerned with the injury/surgury..

I dunno, but I think I might be more concerned if our DBs had to cover a
Jeremy MacLen with his top-end speed than a Michael Crabtree.

I have heard that the Bengals are in pursuit of Laveranues Coles.

I would love it, too. Just what that team needs is another 1st round receiver while they ignore all their other holes. Yes, do it JDR.

I imagine I'm in a minority here, but I see Maclin as a bust.
ETA - split to a new thread (http://www.inthebullseye.com/forums/showthread.php?t=475) to discuss Maclin's bust potential.

That is probably a little high for Heyward-Bey, he will be the third thru the 5 reciever off the board.
1. Crabtree
2. Maclin
Gets a little hazy here now
3. Harvin - The most elusive game breaker
4. Nicks - The most polished with great hands and good route runner
5. Bey - The fastest

I think it's crazy not to have Robiskie in the top 5.. Frankly, I'd probably have him 2nd, depending on how desperate my team was for speed. Perhaps, depending on the team, I'd have Maclin rated higher.
