This looks like a pretty accurate board for the top 15. If so I really hope we are able to trade down. If I were to cherry pick without trading down.

1. LeSean McCoy RB 5-10, 210 Pittsburgh or Rey Maualaga LB 6-2, 250 Southern California

2. Tyrone McKenzie LB 6-2, 235 South Florida or Donald Brown RB 5-10, 210 UConn

3. Matt Shaughnessy DE 6-5, 255 Wisconsin or Andy Levitre OG 6-2, 325 Oregon State

4. Connor Barwin DE 6-4, 250 Cincinnati (OLB/TE) or Emanuel Cook SS 5-10, 205 South Carolina

Witha trade down

2. Tyrone McKenzie LB 6-2, 235 South Florida
2. Donald Brown RB 5-10, 210 UConn
3. Matt Shaughnessy DE 6-5, 255 Wisconsin
3. Andy Levitre OG 6-2, 325 Oregon State
4. Emanuel Cook SS 5-10, 205 South Carolina

3. Matt Shaughnessy DE 6-5, 255 Wisconsin
4. Connor Barwin DE 6-4, 250 Cincinnati (OLB/TE)

What would you do with Barwin? He's not much of a TE prospect. If you have Shaughnessy, do you want two DEs? Do you make him the SAM? Just curious.

That was a mistake on my part. Fixed it.

Did you catch the Senior Bowl week of practice televised on the NFLNetwork ? If so you saw that Barwin has some real quicks as an edge-rusher and he got
double-digit sacks last fall. Looks like a poor-mans Jason Babin to me.
Plus he's a 2-pher as he can free up a roster post as the Texans #3 TE (I'm thinkin Kubiak likes to keep 3 ?). Of course this would all be predicated on how cheap (which round) we could draft him ?

Isn't this the perfect example of the phrase, "Damning with faint praise"?
