Three Aggies, huh? Totally impartial :p
Honestly, if this were our draft, I would be happy with it. We address the OL and secondary with the first four picks.
I can't see Oruwariye and Sternberger being available where they were taken. But if they are there...

Something similar. I also traded down from 2-23 but with the Ravens:
TRADE PARTNER:
BALTIMORE RAVENS
SENT:
ROUND: 2 PICK: 23
RECEIVED:
ROUND: 3 PICK: 21
ROUND: 3 PICK: 38
ROUND: 4 PICK: 11
ROUND: 5 PICK: 22
23: R1P23
OT DALTON RISNER
KANSAS STATE
Everywhere I turn, the mocks have us taking Risner. This lineup was no different.
54: R2P22
S DEIONTE THOMPSON
ALABAMA
The best corners were gone but one of the best safeties was not. I don't expect him falling this far.
85: R3P21
CB SEAN BUNTING
CENTRAL MICHIGAN
One of the better second-tier corners. Small school guy.
86: R3P22
QB TYREE JACKSON
BUFFALO
Still love this guy as a backup for Watson. He's a Steve McNair clone with run/pass ability.
102: R3P38
DL DAYLON MACK
TEXAS A&M
I began not liking my options about here. Mack is a good 3-4 anchor.
113: R4P11
LB VOSEAN JOSEPH
FLORIDA
The big board I was using (Draftplex) did not have this LB rated as highly as most of the others so I took him over some other LBs rated higher.
160: R5P22
WR HUNTER RENFROW
CLEMSON
Again, he's my target for the 4-5 round.
161: R5P23
OT TYREE ST. LOUIS
MIAMI
Opinions are mixed on this guy but all the better OLs were gone when I chose Thompson in Round 2.
195: R6P22
RB BRYCE LOVE
STANFORD
A guy I'd love to take in the low rounds and let him IR his knee the first year and test him in 2020 to see if he has what he showed in 2017. At Stanford, he had speed, elusiveness, receiving skills and could also get tough inside.
220: R7P6
CB JIMMY MORELAND
JAMES MADISON
Well regarded at the combine and insurance for the Bunting pick.

Yeah, you got me. A&M former student here...
Trayveon Williams isn't my choice for best RB match with the Texans but he was the best RB available at the time. That was kind of a RB placeholder pick.
I do like Mack, however. He was really immature his freshman year but got over that with the new staff last year and had a great showing at the scouting bowls.
And as I said...Sternberger was a value pick. I think he will be gone by the mid-3rd.

I would also agree with this plan. Sorry he hurt his knee, but why not take a flyer on him. He had 1st-2nd round talent before the injury. His loss is the Texans gain.
