I guess they have to write something. While I disagree, I guess we have to wait and see when the pads come on.

Of course PFF ranks Texsns Oline 29th. Sounds like a challenge.

If you're going off of last year's team with average Hopkins, no JJ, and Tom Savage at QB, then 21 might be too generous.

As you might guess, the rub lies in between, where the Tennessee Titans somehow have the third-best NFL roster entering the 2017 season and your Houston Texans have the...21st best?

So PFF obviously thinks there's a wide canyon of difference between the talent level of the Texans and Tennessees rosters.

"The emergence of Nick Martin and Julie’n Davenport could work wonders for this line, but there’s little hope for the status quo from a season ago. Left guard Xavier Sua-Filo looks like a bust at this point after back-to-back seasons as a bottom 20 guard."

We have to see what Martin and Julie'n Fries bring to the table and whether there's still a football player inside David Quessenberry's body. I think they are basing that ranking mostly on Su'a-Filo and Mancz.

For sure Oline and a different QB were issues last year.

And statistics can say whatever.

So, Remember bottom 20 could also be top 13? Out of 32

Looking forward to a new year with improved line and QB and WR and RB play..

Are you lumping Mancz in with Su'a-Filo ? Mancz had a solid year in '16 and PFF lists him as a good player along with Duane Brown as they think Mancz & Brown were our best Olinemen in 2016.

I don't zero in on the OL that much (unless there's an obvious breakdown) but more than one media member has said that X was coming on towards the end of the year. The Patriot playoff game was supposed to be one of his best. It should be all coming together for him right about now so, I'd hold off on the B-word for at least another year....

Yea that's also my recollection about last year, but his performances from the beginning to end of the year week in and week out weren't as productive as was the younger Manczs was.
So this is the X-mans contract year which means its time to put it all togehter.

Fwiw, PFT has Texsns ranked 13th before we see anything.
