Doubt it. The General is like that old crotchety professor with tenure. I think Smith is moving to a more news roll, and Wilson is filling his slot. Would guess a chunk of cash brought him here.

Makes sense. There's got to be a bit of culture shock jumping from one team to another like that but I suppose players do it all the time... Interesting that the Chron went for the "seasoned vet" instead of going after a rookie....
