Gonna watch Nathan Slaughter with some interest. A smallish 5'9" slot receiver type with 4.3 speed that can return kicks. Even with that 40 time, he's more quick than fast. Great decision signing with the Texans as they need this type of player to develop. Played lackluster college competition, but so did Jacoby Jones once upon a time (though obvi, two completely different body types).

I'm surprised there are no RB's on the list. Even with drafting "you're my boy" Blue, we have very little depth behind a very questionable Foster. Crowell would've been an ideal UDFA signing, IMO, but he signed with the Browns (well, at least verbally according to Twitter feed). We'll see how it plays out in a few months, I suppose.

By when does team need to be at 90, when training camp opens in August?It applies throughout the offseason until the first preseason cutdown. Some of those guys probably aren't signed but will participate in the rookie minicamp on a tryout basis.

Tim Jackson At 6-4 290 lbs., fits into the type of personnel the team wants at defensive end.

He signed his contract prior to starting his first day with the Texans today at mini camp.

Yea the Auburn guy is 6th round pick Jay Prosch, who looks like he's been handed the starting job @ FB much like Newt was at RT - by default as there's no remaining competition at the position. So looks like I gotta get some Prosch T-shirts because the wife has a bunch of Auburn alums in her family and those guys are rabid about their team and all current and x-players. That's OK, it'll be good to have some Texans fans in the 'Bama-GA area where they live.
