Starting this up again. Get in early so you can do the whole season. Just pick the winners weekly, no spread....

Did I win this thing last year? I'm not trying to be a dick, I honestly don't remember how it ended.

Bob, have you considered setting up the suicide pool in Yahoo? It's easy to do......

Doesn't matter to me.....either way is fine.... :)

If you click on "Fantasy Profile" tab near the top of your Yahoo account, it should say what place you came in last year.... Mine says "1 of 8" but I don't think it takes ties into account. So, I had at least a share of it....

Second place. Damn. At least I don't need to be checking the mail for my HPF t-shirt.

I remember there were maybe three or four of us neck and neck until one of us (barrett?) dropped the ball and forgot to submit his picks. I can't remember whether I lost in the conference championships or in the Super Bowl itself.

Well done. Everybody had Denver in the first game of the season. All correct.

If you're reading this for the first time, feel free to join in at any time. The sooner the better!

I had been doing ok till forgot to turn in picks last week. Might be hard to recover, but just for fun anyways.

Well, I got way too cute this week. I had a disastrous weekend a couple of weeks ago and Arky caught up with me and then passed me. In the playoffs I along with everyone else have ever decreasing opportunities to catch him. It was blindingly obvious to me that the Seahawks, the Patriots, the Broncos and the Niners were going to win. I assumed everyone would pick this way. Since I needed a win I had to decide in which game the underdog had the best chance. I chose Carolina, a decision I can certainly justify. Unfortunately, for some unimaginable reason, everyone else other than Keith also chose Carolina. Even if I'd been right it wouldn't have helped me, damn it.

And anyway it turns out that the Chargers are hanging around with the best chance.

Can't catch Arky down two with just one to play.

Amazing really how close this came with all of us all season long.

Maybe they'll let us pick the Pro Bowl.

Congrats to Arky. It didn't help that I missed a Thursday game in Week 5. That also cost the tiebreakers. At least I didn't miss a whole week like WMH did. He would have been in it, too. It was a small group, but it was hard to even stay with the "pack" here.

Goodness, I haven't visited this thread in a couple of months.

Foo'ball Fool: Thanks. I'm still envious of that 15-1 week you had.... ;)

Ya, I think WMH and Nconroe missed some weeks or they would have been in it, too.

I tied for 2nd place in "the other forum's" pick'em league that started out with 33 players. Most of you other guys would have been in the top 5 which shows that Inthebullseye has some pretty smart pickers.

Next year, I promise to have a $15 Domino's or Papa John's gift card for the winner...

Also, thinking of starting up a Yahoo 3-strikes-and-your-out survivor league if there is enough interest (for those of us that can't last past Week 3 in Bob's pool). :)
