Mays, 28, was placed on waivers last week by Denver. The Washington Redskins, among others, were interested in him, but he signed with the Texans.

This is some good news. Finally an able body to play along side of Cush.

Maybe Schaub can get that piece of his ear back now.

Hopefully he will do better here than in Denver where he was cut and didn't have that much production. Anyways we did need some healthy ILB for training camp.

According to Kubiak he is athletic, physical, good in coverage, and has 5 years experience. With Cushing and Sharpton not full speed they needed some experience at the position.

Looks like they have 4 really young players also on the roster at ILB.
