One of our original owners has decided to move on, so for the first time in 4 or 5 years we have a franchise available. Please let me know if you are interested.
I will always favor those who are active members of the site. As this is a dynasty league, please consider that you will want to continue with the league for several seasons, ideally indefinitely.
Some basic info...
- 2004 inaugural season
- Play only for pride; no prizes.
- We have 14 teams with 28-man rosters
- Annual fee for the site on MyFantasyLeague.com is split 14 ways; Roughly $6 is all that is owed each year
- Scoring rules are fairly typical, 0.5 PPR. Defense gets too many points, but we'll vote a change this offseason
- Rookie/FA slow live draft mid-May, 4 rounds; this is the best 3 or 4 days all year
- Not hugely active league, but we did process 13 trades since May this season. League is as active as you make it to be, imo.
The available roster is from a team that won it all in 2009 and has been a perennial playoff team, including this year.
QBs - Eli Manning, Jake Locker, Tarvais Jackson, Brian Hoyer
RBs - Adrian Peterson, Cedric Benson, DeAngelo Williams, Toby Gerhart, Mikel Leshoure, Danny Woodhead, Brandon Saine, Tashard Choice
WRs - Percy Harvin, Laurent Robinson, Jeremy Maclin, James Jones, Jacoby Jones, David Nelson, Julian Edelman, Lestar Jean
TEs - Tony Gonzalez, Dennis Pitta, Marcedes Lewis, Garrett Graham
Ks - John Kasay, Rob Bironas
Ds- New York Jets, Dallas Cowboys
Team is picking 11th in each round this May. All four picks are still owned by the franchise.
You'll need to cut 2 by Valentine's Day as we trim rosters to 26 before expanding them for the draft and preseason.
