Sounds like we may get some basketball around Christmas time. I was missing keeping up with Rockets.

There's no reason to care about the NBA regular season. Clearly the players don't care if you've watched them play. Just have it back up and running by February and arrange a playoff system and everyone will forget there ever was a labor impasse, just like the last time they had a long strike.

I used to be a fanatical Rockets fan but little by little Stern killed the league for me. I cannot watch the NBA at all now and have been completely unaffected by the cancellations. This would have been unthinkable to me even ten years ago.
I fear Selig has done the same thing with MLB. What in the world am I going to do without baseball? I feel like an alcoholic who has finally made that fateful and irreversible decision to quit drinking. I'm going to have an awful lot of time on my hands and it's a little bit frightening.

Maybe we can start an AA group - Astros Anonymous.

I called the Methodist church and they told me their fellowship hall is available Tuesday nights. See you there at 7:30.

Wonder which FA center Rockets will pick up?
Sounds like Nene from Denver is the first choice. Perhaps a trade for Gasol in Memphis? .... time will tell but hope they get a above average center for future.
