Cushing was mic'd up for the browns game. pretty good stuff. he cut his head open when he headbutted (cushing w/o a helmet) one of the browns' lineman (with a helmet).

Seeing this clip and hearing Cushing talk about him running the Wildcat lends me the idea of putting him in the backfield in goal line situations. That guy is a maniac and if you needed half a yard I don't see how anyone could prevent Cushing from picking it up.
I'm kidding, of course, but only barely. But watching him lay out that guard on the interception return like he's blocking a wayward punter does make me wonder.

In the words of Hank Hill "That boy just ain't right". Hell of an LB, but I doubt all the bolts are tightened down.

I'm wondering if it's just not more like a real serious case of "me, me, me" ?

The blood is just something photographers are going to capture. It fits with what many think an NFL LB is supposed to be. The truth though is that his mind and preparation and film study are far more important than any "warrior spirit." And his ability to run down a ball carrier or take on a linemen is more important than either of those.
