According to a press release the Pats placed 12 players on PUP yesterday (24th) The following players have been placed on the PUP list: DL Jarvis Green, RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis, S Rodney Harrison, DB Ellis Hobbs, T Nick Kaczur, G Stephen Neal, T Oliver Ross, LB Bo Ruud, LB Mike Vrabel, WR Wes Welker, C Ryan Wendell and DL Mike Wright.
Then today they removed Green-Ellis.
My understanding of the PUP list that it keeps players on the sideline, but it cost them roster spots. How do you practice with your entire offensive line on the PUP list. Kubiak is worried about one player adding to many reps to the other guys, how would a team survive 12 players? This has to be a ruse to rest old guys for the most part, Belichick's mad mind at work again.
I know the Texans are still a young team, and they need to get the reps for the young guys. And comparing them to NE is unfair. But are we seeing the difference in coaches?
Kubiak has worked the heck out of this team the last 2 years and we practice in one of the hottest locations in the NFL, is that a reason the players are breaking down and more injury prone? And if you agree, will the team still be strong but more capable of starting the season because they are fresher due to the new schedule?
