While the Texans are technically tied for the division lead, they are looking good in terms of an early wild card race. Houston is 3-0 in games against the AFC. While the loser of the AFC East race between the Jets and Patriots would each have one conference loss, every other team in the conference that doesn't currently lead their division has at least two conference losses.
