I'd just like to thank the boys from my alma mater for taking the field for us last night in New Orleans. No, not A&M, my other alma mater, St. Pius X. They got a fine program there, a lot of talent. These guys are on the right track -
Aw, shoot, fellas. Yeah, that was us out there, you know, the paid professionals. We really stunk. We have some things to work on, like executing that halfback pass at the end of a drive when Matt's completed five in a row. Or like that end around we seem to always call for Kevin Walter when you least expect it, heh heh. Ooh, and we're getting ready to really unleash a new wrinkle to the fullback outlet pass - hint, he runs left instead of right! - so look out, Dallas. Suck on that.
I know I'm supposed to be The Fake Season Czar™ and all, but that's not what I'm really all about. No, I'm all about taking a 5-7 team after Thanksgiving and closing out every season on a 3-1 tear to really skew expectations for the next season.
You laugh, but that routine the last three years just got me an extension, so you can suck on that, too.
