Here We Go!

Congratulations.
You have survived Draft Hype 2008!
I
know, it wasn't easy. Now's the time to heal, time to move on from
the enduring struggle you've endured these last four months weighing
the lesser of two draft day evils. No, I'm not talking about Mel's
bouffant versus Casserly's mop. I mean it's time to stop debating
over whether the Texans should stay at #18 in the first round or
try to work a trade or two to make up picks lost due to prior transactions.
Have
a little faith in your friends in the warroom. They have certainly
earned it over the last two years. They're gonna take care of us.
And
speaking of Casserly, seeing as how we are now in our third selection
party post-C.C., gone is the fear that the Texans will screw up
this weekend. Think about it for a moment -- name the worst pick
the Texans have made over the previous two drafts.
It's
not easy to do, is it?
So
don't fret over whom the team didn't pick or over what trade the
team made or didn't make. Our second honeymoon is still in full
swing, and I've just cancelled our return flights back home.
I'm
going to sit back and enjoy the ride this weekend. I suggest you
do the same.
